So sad to hear about Karen's passing.  We were in school together from 4th grade at old HNA.  I remember her fondly as part of my childhood.

They all look like little angels. Those St. Joe's children. Nice to see this photo of Karen McDonald.

Karen sat next to me in JP's History freshman year.  So smart and so funny.  Such a cute picture of her -- and Kathy and Mary?  Such fond memories --

That photo!  So darling!  I can see Paula Williams, Karen McDonald & Mary Mc Elmeel.  Darling Kathleen Marsh, who we just lost, on the top, George Mead above Mary & Mike McChesney? on the bottom left.  Any more?  Karen McDonald's picture is so cute!

Karen and Margot Nims and I were frequent childhood playmates, often roller skating in their alley since it was so smooooooth, and my alley, a block away, was pitted and filled with pot-holes.  Karen's mom was the greatest--taking on Mrs. Naughton's entire Brownie troop, adding us to the one she already had, when Liz Naughton's mom decided not to have the troop any longer :((.    (Mike Stapelton is the little guy in the photo at the bottom--Karen's next door neighbor--also a great family.....)   Childhood friends are important to our life story.   Karen was an important part of my childhood.  Rest in peace, my friend.   Loving prayers for your eternal happiness....

I too remember Karen fondly from our HNA childhood. . .I remember stopping by her house to pick her up on the way to some activity at St. Joe's, but don't recall the activity, perhaps basketball.  I remember playing outdoor games at her house with its basketball hoop, she was always such a good sport.  That photo of her is precious.  Rest in peace, dear Karen.
